SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – Rachel’s Table of Western Massachusetts officially launched its new 16-foot refrigerated box truck.
They celebrated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony Wednesday afternoon.
Leaders there say the spacious box truck will allow them to feed more people in need by increasing the amount of perishable food items they can keep fresh. The executive director of Rachel’s Table says that last year, they delivered nearly a million pounds of food throughout western Massachusetts.
