The Rachel’s Tabe Teen Board holds twice monthly programming for teens in Middle and High School from September to May. One meeting, where teens learn about food insecurity, Rachel’s Table and more, and one community service event, where teens gain hands on experience serving the community.

The mission of the Rachel’s Table Teen Board is to alleviate childhood hunger, educate youth about food insecurity, and advocate for food justice in western Massachusetts through events and projects.

Most recently, the Teen Board helped organize Outrun Hunger, a 5k and 1 mile fun run at Forest Park. This is a biannual fundraiser that helps fun the teen board and other Rachel’s Table programs.

To learn more about the Teen Board and find out how to get involved, email Teen Board & Visual Design Coordinator Sarah Bate at sbate@feedwma.org or follow the Teen Board on Instagram.
