Dear Friends,
Thank you for the ongoing support you have provided to Rachel’s Table for the past thirty years and more recently through our Bountiful Bowls 2023 event. The evening was joyous, and hopeful – hope for those we serve and for our organization soon shifting to meet the growing need with greater flexibility and possibilities. You provide that hope with your support.
On Tuesday night, I spoke about being a “Joe” for others, based on one of the honorees, Joseph Dorison, who passed away recently. Joe showed up fully in all he did, and like him, when we show up for those who need us, we are living the best part of ourselves. Rachel’s Table does that every day in our Western Mass. community, as an intergenerational, interfaith, diverse community of volunteers, lay leaders, partners, and staff with shared humanistic values.
Our hearts were as full as the room was to thank the 10 industrious women who founded Rachel’s Table, the four mentors who have helped RT evolve, and the Arbella Insurance Foundation, which supports our emphasis on sustainable food solutions into the future.
Your generosity allows us to serve with dignity and humility. Your gift gives hope to many. We hope someday there will be no need for a Rachel’s Table. In the meantime, we will continue to do our work together to create food security.

P.S. We want you to stay in touch! As of July 1, 2023 Rachel’s Table will be officially a stand-alone nonprofit organization! Our new website, www.feedwma.org, will go live on that date and the current domain will be redirected. Our emails will also change. For instance, jfalk@jewishwesternmass.org will become jfalk@feedwma.org, etc. We are but a phone call or email away, and as always, six days a week, our 200+ volunteers are driving, dispatching, educating, gleaning, gardening, or serving our local western MA community.
