Growing Our Team, Growing Our Community
By Chana Laila
Office Manager & Development Assistant

At Rachel’s Table of Western Massachusetts, growth isn’t just about numbers—it’s about nurturing relationships, deepening our impact, and building a stronger, more connected community. As we continue to grow to meet the need, we are thrilled to welcome Meghan Williams to our team as our new Volunteer Coordinator and Administrative Assistant.
Meghan brings with her a deep-rooted commitment to food justice and an impressive track record of community-centered work that makes her an exceptional fit for this vital role. Drawing on over eight years of experience managing volunteers across food pantries, farms, and access initiatives, Meghan has a strong grasp of how collaboration and community action drive meaningful change.
She most recently served in a dual role at Franklin County Community Meals Program, where she coordinated volunteers across five locations, organized donor databases, and even stepped in as Interim Executive Director. What makes Meghan especially suited for Rachel’s Table is her ability to connect with people from all walks of life. She is fluent in Spanish, a trained ServSafe Manager, and a skilled communicator with a strong background in both administrative systems and community engagement. Her passion for food justice has taken her from managing mobile farmers markets to leading CSA farms that prioritized accessibility, including SNAP benefits.
In her new role, Meghan will be the friendly face welcoming new volunteers, the voice connecting our partners, and a helping hand behind the systems that keep our programs running smoothly. She’ll be ensuring our 350+ volunteers feel supported and valued, helping coordinate appreciation events, stewarding new partnerships, and enhancing our volunteer management platforms.
We are so excited to see how Meghan’s energy and expertise will help grow our mission. Her addition to our team reflects RTWM’s commitment to strengthen, sustain, and nourish a more connected community.
Please join us in giving Meghan a warm welcome to Rachel’s Table of Western MA!
